People with burnout are very negative about their tasks, find it hard to concentrate, are listless and lack creativity. Ironically, stress has a negative effect on cognitive abilities, which in turn stresses us out even more. Burnout can look a lot like symptoms of depression, and according to studies in 2015, when it is severe it can be hard to tell the two apart. Stress and burnout are also frequently accompanied by high levels of anxiety and maybe even panic attacks. If you are feeling overwhelmed by work and life it is good time to consider therapy to manage stress and heal from the effects of burnout.

The therapy process is usually longer than the coaching process which is more short term. It is best to schedule a consultation and discuss what your goals are for addressing stress and burnout. We can come up with a plan that fits your schedule and your budget.
